Moss Basket Hands-On Workshop with Evelyn
Saturday March 20, 10:00 am
Repeat with Debbie Johnson on Sunday April 11th. 1pm

We'll learn to moss, learn water saving tricks, design either a bloomer or a succulent combo.
The teaching is free, the labor is yours, the results are yours or we keep and sell. That's called free labor.

Propagation Class, Sunday afternoon, March 28th, starts at 1:30 pm
Learn the secrets of successfully taking cuttings, rooting them and transitioning them into the garden. RSVP to staff@weidners.com

The Propagation class is really popular so we'll do a repeat May 29th at 10 am.

Bring clippers, largest plastic soda Bottles with the bottoms cut off.
You'll go home with all sorts of knowledge and lots of cuttings ready to root.

The Encinitas Garden Festival April 17th.

This is a large plant sale and other vendors. The tour is a walking tour of one particular area. You get to peek in lots of front yards with especially nice plants and designs.
This years tour area is Leucadia in the Orpheus Area.
That's the area where Evelyn lives so . Weidners has tickets for sale..

Evelyn's front yard will be on the tour. Her garden is becoming an Edible, (reasonable water) garden. Easy to get to fruits and vegetables along with potted combinations and flashy flowers. The front bank is being converted into succulents. Tickets on sale at Weidners and other Garden Centers.

Annual Charity Garden Tour & Ecke Plant Sale on Saturday, April 24th

This popular tour will include 5 residential garden stops in North County San Diego, including a Rancho Santa Fe garden that has become a popular site for weddings and other events.  Another highlighted stop includes a California Native garden in Carmel Valley that is a certified wildlife habitat.  See these and other gardens selected by Weidners' Gardens and other local landscape designers.  Only our tour includes exclusive admission to Ecke Ranch to purchase an incredible selection of blooming Pack Trial Spring Plants at below-market prices.  Shop rows and rows of begonias, geraniums, SunPatiens, Osteospermum, and many other plants not yet available to the public.  The tour and plant sale will take place rain or shine.  Great gardens, great cause, great plants!
