"Plant a Fairy Garden" Workshop Sunday, March 4th at 1:30
A Magical Sunday Afternoon of Fairies (who can resist a real fairy?) and Fun as well as planting.
You need to reserve and prepay to be sure of a spot.
For all of you who want to try out this great experience, succulents make it easy, foliage plants are prettier but need more upkeep.
We have all the fairies and supplies. You may also bring your own fairies and other decorative things such as bark, interesting rocks, or a shell you found on the beach. 
Real fairies: The girls can wear their fairy clothes and we'll have a mini show of costumes. We'll take a picture of each of our creations with the proud young fairy lover or grown-up creator in the picture.
Cost $10.00 plus materials for the adult in the group. Kids are free as long as they believe in fairies. You need to reserve and prepay to be sure of a spot.
"Learn to Moss and Plant a Basket" workshop.
Saturday, March 17th at 10:30 am
The class is free, but you pay for materials and plants.
Always a favorite class. Debbie Johnson teaches it and she is so good. Create a new one and/or bring in your old tired out baskets and she'll help you bring them back to life.
You'll learn mossing techniques, basic basket design, low water and full color planting ideas. This is a hands on class, Everyone mosses and makes a basket. You may choose to take home your creation and pay for the materials or leave it for Weidner's to sell. We call that a Tom Sawyer Project. Stay all day and make a lot of baskets! We love it!

Intergenerational—Home Propagation Workshop. Sunday, March 25th at 10 a.m.
10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or when ever you have finished all your cuttings. 
'Intergenerational' That's the new word that means it's OK to bring your child or grandchild to this class. They do need to be old enough to enjoy and not get bored. (Suggest 8 years old and up but it depends on your child's maturity)
You'll learn how cuttings root and seeds start to grow, how to make the right size cuttings, and how to make your own mini propagation containers.
We provide the instructions, A printed take home guide, cutting material, the pots, soil, and the rooting hormone. You go home with at least 10 or more cuttings ready to root and grow.
This is a reservations only pre paid workshop. Adults $10.00, children free.
Start to collect the large 20 oz. plastic pop bottles and the other clear plastic containers with snap on lids. Like strawberries and other foods come in. Bring them along some clippers and be prepared to learn and go home happy.
New Children's I can Grow it project for March is "Watch it Grow" which will include making a cutting and sowing some seeds. You can come any day we are open with your youngsters and you and they can have the fun of this do it your self activity. More information on the Children's I can Grow it page.
This will be a workshop for anyone interested in making their own plants from cuttings. You may come alone or bring your youngsters.

This is the annual weekend that is so much fun with free ladybugs and ladybug crafts for all the children.

Yes, it's back and you'll want to be here early
and get the basket or container that is just right for your garden. So, save the date!
The walks and aisles will be filled with big baskets, small baskets, unusual baskets and easy to care baskets. Combination containers too. Every price, every size. Last year's show had almost 100 Combinations to choose from.
