We will be taking tours through our greenhouses full of poinsettias.We'll tell you all about how we start the poinsettias, grow them and make them come into bloom at just the right time.
Did you know that tiny almost invisible beneficial wasps keep our poinsettias free of whiteflies? Maybe we can see some, but they are very tiny ....

The tours will be at 11:00 am , 1:30 and 3:00 pm on both Satuday and Sunday.

You can make your own or buy ready to go.
We'll have hot mulled cider and I'll make some Swedish Pepparkakor cookies.

The Lima Bean cook off Week End was a great success. September 25, 26 and 27th a the Heritage Museum, 450 Quail Gardens Rd. encinitas, Ca 92024
We had 22 different LIma Bean dishes ..all of them super delicious. The Blue Potato salad with Lima Beans was one of the big winners. Encinitas Rotary got the people's choice with the Barbequed Lima Beans. I loved the Herbed Lima Bean soup and the Lima Bean Croutons

When you call and don't get an answer or get a message, here's why.
Sometimes we are where we don't hear the phone, sometimes two of the three lines are busy and the phone rolls to the third line. Can't put an answering machine message on that line and we keep resisting one of those annoying "your call is important to us" set ups. Even if you don't get an answer keep trying the 760 436 2194 number and you'll get us eventually.
